Welcome to Chaser Sportfishing
The Chaser is a 48-foot custom Carolina boat built locally in 1994 by Island Boat Works. She was built using the traditional Carolina flare. This unique feature allows her to cut through the short steep chop often found in North Carolina fishing waters without compromising stability and a gentle ride. Powered by twin diesel CAT C-9 engines she cruises comfortably at 25 knots enabling a quick trip to the gulf stream.
Chaser offers a spacious temperature controlled salon with two large seating areas and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave. For your entertainment, a TV/DVD/Stereo system.

We take groups of 6 or less to nearshore/offshore waters.

The Captain
Captain Jeremy Johnson took his first offshore trip at 10 years old and was hooked. His love for fishing turned into a career when he moved to Hatteras in 2006. He has worked on numerous charter boats over the past 16 years and has had his 100 ton Masters license since 2009. Jeremy will work hard to put you on the fish and ensure that you and your party have an unforgettable trip.
