How many people can fish?
Per US Coast Guard regulations the max number of passengers are no more than 6 people.
What do I need to bring?
Food, Beverages (be sure to get alcohol the day before, NC law prohibits sale of alcohol before 7:00 AM), Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Camera
Do you provide fish cleaning?
Experienced fish cleaners are available to clean and bag your catch for a minimal fee at the dock.
What is the customary tip for the mate?
Mates depend on tips as part of their income. The customary tip for the first mate is usually 15-20% of the charter.
What kind of fish can we expect to catch?
Offshore Seasons:
January - March: Blue Fin Tuna, Black Fin Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna
March - June: Yellow/Black Fin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Sailfish
Mid-June - September: Dolphin, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Yellow Fin Tuna
October - December: Wahoo, Black Fin Tuna, Dolphin, King Mackeral, Sailfish
Inshore Seasons:
May - June: Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackeral
